The National Property Risk Index is designed as a citation-friendly benchmark for comparing property exposure across U.S. cities and states.
The index combines long-horizon hazard baselines with current exposure signals across flood, wind, storm surge, hurricane-style exposure, tornado, hail, wildfire, AQI, and lightning.
HomeRiskIQ now keeps daily index readings so monthly movers, state reports, and event-based local risk studies can cite changes over time as comparison windows mature.
