2026 Severe-Weather Baseline Update

HomeRiskIQ is updating severe-weather baselines with the latest available NOAA Storm Prediction Center tornado and hail archive files, extending the historical input window through 2025.

The refresh rebuilds tornado, hail, current AQI, and composite risk tiles before the National Property Risk Index is recalculated for city, state, and major-city rankings.

The update is designed to create cleaner media hooks: major-city rankings, wildfire exposure rankings, and a methodology freshness view that makes source recency easier to verify.
